Virtual Felt Blog by Brad 'Geno' Gennaro

Well, I guess the virtual poker gods thought I was flowing down the poker-website-river a little too smoothly and it was time to give Virtual Felt a reality check. So far I have applied to become a poker affiliate... for around 8 or 9 online poker sites, and in true Brad Gennaro professional-baseball glory-day fashion I was batting a crisp one-thousand until Bodog sent me an email stating that my application got denied! Awesome! I love the extra motivation! I've lived my whole life proving people wrong with great success so this is just what I needed. Believe that. According to the email, the Virtual Felt does not produce enough traffic. I even stated in my application that I just started this thing up and was in the dark about most of it, but damn, I have told that to everyone else as well. Up to this point I have received nothin' but positive vibes from those Affiliate Managers that I have spoken with; sites such as Titan Poker, FullTilt, and Sportsbook.com (both sports betting and online poker room! I mean nothin' but personalized emails, quick what's ups, just "cool" people, you know?! The email from Bodog ended with a something along the lines of "looks like you got a good thing going, contact us later when you get some traffic". Where I come from, if you really think somebody has a good thing going, you invest! Right? I understand they run a business and you have to meet certain criteria, but come on, denying www.virtualfelt.com a FREE affiliate pass? A name that just screams for an actual real money online site!

In all honesty, I'm really not upset about the denial at all, but when only one site gives you the "thanks, but no thanks" speech, it gets my blood flowin' just a little. It is actually just one more reason to thank those who have jumped on board with the 'Felt basically blind. Hell, these sites have no clue who I am but were willing to give me a shot. Thank you, and I mean that! Let's do this y'all. Peace.
