Set Up Online Affiliate Programs | What is Google Adsense?

What is up poker-people?! Just a quick post to make everyone aware of the ads situation you see on the site. I did not put them there! I would never sell out to the corporate... world, lie to the community, and place advertising on my "just for fun" poker blog, but, I did have my boy Murph enter those bad boys into the template, and I must say, they look dope!

I'm really fired up, man, damn, I have joined the online poker affiliate program of the sites you see scattered around Virtual Felt. This is for your benefit! It gives you, the online player, a great opportunity to get free handouts with the bonus codes that are offered. They all offer the deposit bonus if you are ready join a poker site, or if you just need to reload somewhere else due to a terrible bad beat or if you paved your way to a site exclusion! In all honesty, I must say that I am honored to have the chance to be an affiliate for these companies. Wait, that deserves repeating, because that is no joke, I am honored to have the chance to be an affiliate for these online companies. When I first got the idea of getting the Virtual Felt up and running, I was not sure what direction I was going to take, or what the HTML was for that matter, but the communication I have had with representatives of these online poker giants has been surprisingly great (I say surprisingly because I guess that I really didn't think human contact would happen, I assumed that I would get some robotic email saying "so-and-so is sorry, we do not currently except applications from websites dealing with computerized cloth)! They have really provided great feedback and availability and no doubt have been a big help in getting me off the ground with some sort of clue.

Overall, I am pretty pleased with my progress and with the way the site is shaping up, and I'm really trying to give this thing an "official" look and feel. I'm sacrificing a lot of bar time to get this thing going, but I'm actually enjoying doing something different for change other than passing out at 2AM only to wake up 4 hours later dying of thirst, with a splitting headache, and a half-eaten burrito on the side of my bed (and where did this 40oz of King Cobra come from?). I really don't know why I'm enjoying staying up until three-in-the-morning yelling at the computer (dead sober mind you) because I somehow deleted my template - AGAIN (save my template? Why? It won't happen again!)! In a strange psychotic kind of way, however, it's exciting.

Back to the ads. I actually just wanted those 125 x 125's at first because I thought they looked cool! I really didn't even know that they were a portal which offers a direct link to the site, and also sweet deals for you! Now that I got these affiliate programs rollin', and the Google Adsense ads are making their way onto my posts, I have even more incentive to make sure I provide a stylish, informative, entertaining, professional looking poker site (in other words, a sic lookin' site), and the online poker rooms can rest assured that I will represent there logo well.
